Forming part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Sidmouth is a beautiful unspoilt Regency town which has succeeded in maintaining a traditional English feel. It is nestled between majestic red cliffs and is surrounded by the beautiful East Devon countryside. Sidmouth offers a wide range of activities such as fishing, golf, sailing, music and lies on the South West Coastal Path making it a wonderful stopping off point for walkers. The fishing villages of Branscombe and Beer are close by and well worth a visit.

Sidmouth has a good selection of great pubs and nice restaurants catering for all tastes and enjoys a café culture during the warmer months. It also has its own Theatre which produces regular plays with Charles Vance producing plays and musicals throughout the summer. Our local cinema provides all the latest movies. Sidmouth has a plentiful supply of good independent traditional shops in a lovely high street which has won many floral awards. There is also the beautiful Connaught Gardens where the Sidmouth Town Band plays on Sunday evenings in the summer months.

Further afield you have the city of Exeter which is 13 miles away where you can enjoy the Quay and visit the magnificent Cathedral. The national parks or Dartmor and Exmoor are easily accessible by car.
